Mayor and Town Board

The Town of Newton Grove operates under the Mayor-Council form of goverment.  The mayor and the council, acting together, make decisions about services, revenues and expenditures. All personnel come under the board with this form of government.

The Mayor serves two years terms. Council member are elected to four year terms.  The Mayor does not have the power to vote on matters before the board, except to break a tie vote.
